The DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya is a brand new property that opened this year. Bintaro Jaya is located on the outskirts of Jakarta and was around a 35 minute Grab ride from CGK airport - I booked a base king room using points @ 20k for one night. A few days before arrival I was upgraded to a high floor king room. They do have suites here, but it seems very few - so the run of mill HH upgrades here will not be to suites.

The hotel is located within a shopping mall, with hundreds of shops and eating choices. There is also a train station located adjacent.

My room was located on floor 11, right at the end of the corridor:


Bed was firm, but had a good mattress topper.. overall very comfortable:


Shower pressure was excellent:

Welcome chocolates... 5 stars for effort:


There is no lounge here, and to my knowledge no welcome drink or happy hour in the lobby cafe like in other DT's, especially in Malaysia.

Breakfast spread was very good, with a wide range of Asian and Western food. When I entered the restaurant the waitress asked how I'd like to be addressed!







On the same floor as the restaurant is the pool (and gym).. a really nice pool long enough for swimming lengths with a good atmosphere:



Overall a solid choice and I wish I'd had an extra night or two here.
