I wouldn't be so sure that there's nothing you can do. I would call Chase, explain the situation, and see if they can get you on a different flight with a longer layover. The worst thing they can say is no. But maybe they'll help - earlier this year I booked an Aerolíneas Argentinas itinerary through Expedia that went through several changes, and the agency each time was able to get me booked onto flights that worked better than what the airline originally offered.
