I would not describe rooms at InterContinental Porto Palacio das Cardosas "tired" : they are perfectly well maintained, in a classic style.

I really like the Casa Da Companhia Vignette Collection Porto: the historic building is very beautiful with its patio, the rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is of a very high standard, the design is top quality and the service is perfect. What's more, unlike the InterContinental, it has both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

Both hotels are of high quality, in a different style, but very close in location. So it's hard to choose between the two.
