As promised, an update.

CE is oversold and so I have been downgraded, although retain priority boarding and lounge access. If there are no shows, unlikely I think, I get reinstated.

So my question now is what can I claim back from BA if I remain in economy and how do I go about it.

I had originally bought an economy ticket and paid to upgrade. Is it just a case of getting the upgrade fee back?
