HV doesn't have a schedule where flights always leave at the same hour every day, I think the more important point was that there are 3 KL flights and only 1 HV flights per day and that it's clearly visible on KL website that you book a flight with a different airline.

With codeshare flights you always have to comply with the lowest hand luggage allowance, it doesn't matter who sold you the ticket and what is the relationship they have with the operating carrier.
