I forget which Chinese airline and airport it was, it was the cheapest option but I instantly removed it from consideration due to my perception of the hassle. Good to know sometimes it may be easier, but generally still seems more hassle and unpredictable than other countries I've transferred in, so I'll continue to avoid unless the saving is significant and I have time to spare.
