When Alaska was in Terminal 2 my routine was to start at Amex Lounge at Terminal 3 and then wait it out at Alaska's Lounge in Terminal 2. Now that there is extensive remodeling at Terminal 3 and the temporary corridors between 3 and 2, would it be faster to go from Terminal 3 through Intl G, A and then Terminal 1?
That requires another TSA checkpoint. While it might be slightly faster (depending on time of day), I'd rather take the airside walk. I do not like the A checkpoint very much, although I've used it plenty of times.
