Aer Lingus flights earing to AA - missing miles - denied
Dear FT Hive mind:
Recently flew Aer Lingus, in economy, LIN-DUB-IAD on a oneway ticket. My AA number was in the reservation.
Miles did not post, filed a missing miles request with AA, came back today as "the airline has denied this request because miles have been posted to another FFP"
That's blatantly incorrect - I did not earn miles anywhere else for these flights - and my AAdvantage number was the only one in the reservation.
What's the appeals/correction process here? Do I have to call AAdvantage Customer Service?
