We appear to be straying off topic again with speculation on the future of TPs and how TPs may be earned. This is a very busy topic with wide interest on the ins and outs of the double TP promotion. Can we please concentrate discussion on the double TP promotion and discuss other topics elsewhere on FT.

At the end of the day BA have made no public statements about changing the way TPs might be earned in the future, the discussion on FT about a possible move to revenue based qualification is pure speculation by a small number of individuals based entirely on guesswork rather than on any inside information. BA will no doubt be aware of the damage caused to Delta when it announced changes to its qualification requirements and after the ensuing backlash having to reverse much of what they announced.

It would be appreciated if discussion in this topic is restricted to actual TP earning via the BAH Double Tier Point Promotion rather than speculative discussion and unconvincing arguments on the possibility of a move to revenue based qualification at some future date.
