Looking at alternate routes to CGK, a place I'd like to revisit as an alternative to westward travel, especially now that Trump has returned, I came across FCO-DOH-CMB-CGK ret for around GBP 1800/ 840 TPs (GBP 2.14/TP) on QR and UL. At first glance not as great at the previous offer, but it does swap a difficult/expensive positioning flight to AUH for an easy one to FCO, and is competitive-ish with westward TP runs. I haven't yet poked at it to see if any open jaw returns are possible.

Yeah, I booked my UL flights assuming it would not be that difficult to get to AUH from LHR, or at least not that expensive with $ or points, but ended up having to book EY in Y return to get to AUH, which ended up being a similar price to the UL flights :/ Still a fun trip!
