If you wish to support the governor's initiative, and the lifestyle of his officers, then by all means donate/pay the levy. But paying the "tax" and making a donation to reputable and effective charities are not mutually exclusive activities

I don't regard USD10 as trivial amount, and. neither would any of the NGOs and charities working to improve the lives of the Balinese
