Couldn't find any thread about about this yet, but what's up with Alaska's new automated phone system? Overall, I find it's at least a minute until I can finally get routed, when before it was a few seconds.
- Have to listen through the initial 40+ seconds or so without any workaround. Used to be able to click zero and get to someone.
- Once the options are presented, no option to just use the keypad. Have to actually speak back, which more often than not doesn't work correctly (and personally, it's just annoying)
- Also, the new voice is... robotic? The greeting before was also more warm and personal "Thanks for calling the MVP Priority Line". Now "Thanks for being one of our elite guests" or something like that.
Feels like a poorly thought out experience all around. Hopefully enough people are complaining.
Talking about complaining, I got a response within 1 day (yay?) but then the response was clearly written using ChatGPT or something... Unexpectedly thorough, but also following a very predictable pattern as if I asked chatGPT "Please respond to this complain showing empathy for every concern and promising to share the feedback internally". Lol.
