In my experience when you book on NH websites with your GHA credentials you get all benefits and GHA $ without a problem, you even are able to redeem GHA $ at the property.
But the NH website bookings won't show on the GHA website nor will GHA bookings show on the NH website.
I have the same with some other properties where I book directly because it gives additional benefits to book on the properties website, as long as the GHA discovery credentials are used all is fine.
Plus remember it's mostly branding, NH Discovery, Kempsinki Discovery etc. are all extending benefits to each other (there are some like Pan Pacific which have some additional benefits if you signed up via the Pan Pacific). Most customers come via a hotel branding (either by their program joining the Discovery brand or by signing up via the property website, not signing up via GHA directly.
