I suppose it depends on the specifics of the contract. I suspect JL is paying Safran directly (rather than airbus who then re-invoices to JL). It is highly unlikely any company would allow their cash flow to be disrupted for months by a company that is not their own supplier (Safran) and therefore, even if they are doing the install they will probably complete the sale on the basis that they will finish the install once the buyers supplier delivers.
