Didn’t find it spicy, but would agree that it was a tad on the salty side. Still nice to get such a substantial meal on such a short flight.
Speaking of lighter meals, I thoroughly enjoyed the Nasu Dengaku —
Japanese style eggplant with miso glaze and baked in oven. Served with simmered vegetables and flavoured rice.
Light and filling. The eggplant tasted meaty and didn’t leave any of that itchy sensation you sometimes get.
