The "A modification has been made to your itinerary" message has since disappeared on UA and everything looks kosher except for this known issue re: incorrect PQP accrual.
Weird stuff. LH called me to say they are seeing the upgraded leg in F (as it should be) and also in business class!!! They suggested I call United to fix this.
The flights look good on UA, but I can now see the upgraded leg listed twice on LH as the agent said. They also have different receipt numbers.
Should I call United or just ignore this? Based on past experience in this thread, looks like I should not have United do anything with the reservation ...
