I've been keeping up to date with the progress of the JA07 and JA08 airframes on Aviation Flights and have been very stumped with why JA07 has been ferried between TLS and CHR, and that it has been parked there for almost a month already. And, a few days ago, I was given false excitement when I received a notification about a change in registration (as I have JA07 and JA08 saved into My Fleets on AF). At first I didn't notice any obvious changes (such as the plane being ferried back to TLS), but I then noticed that the plane was 'delivered on contract' on the 15th Oct. That wasn't there before I received the notification about the change in registration. I wonder what that is all about? JA07 being ferried to CHR has really thrown a spanner into my expectations of JA07 being introduced into JAL's fleet before the end of 2024.

And the reason why I am so interested in keeping up to date on JA07 and JA08, is because I am due to fly HND - LHR on JL43 in February. But my flight is still currently showing the B777! Still a lovely plane, but I'd be lying if I wasn't wanting to fly on the new A35K.
It has been showing delivered on contract at least a week now. I think it has been delivered and is now under JL ownership but as one of the other posters first pointed out here, is probably waiting for the seats from Safran. Safran has had a lot of delays over the last year so the seats probably aren’t made yet.

I am on JL44 in February too and hoping for the A35K. Initially I thought it was guaranteed but now less so. Hopefully they can have the seats delivered within the next 3 months
