Foodstalls however - there are a bunch of stall-like restaurants within walking distance (i.e. very cheap, somewhere to sit down), but the full hawker market is even further than the Gurney Drive mall (i.e. likely grab rather than walk). A quick list of what I paid attention to:
The mall itself had a lot of food choices and big brands.
But to be clear, this isn't Georgetown, and you aren't going to find your long lists of "best X food" walking distance from this hotel, except for probably the fish head curry
Thanks. This is very useful too. I think based on the points airbitrage, we will stick to Courtyard. Food and the nearness of hawker foods is a major factor in the decision making!
