Despite some (understandable) cynicism, this is a positive development IMHO. I have been using AirTags for a while and they have been very useful .. most notably when I was re-routed through DFW to SFO (yes, a broken 380.....) and I could see my luggage had been transferred, despite not being allowed under US regs...
