Sorry also forgot to mention that the return flight EY83 from AUH to FCO is now also operated by the Wamos A330-200, Bad luck. They are still selling this flight as operated by Etihad and so far no email has been sent regarding the change of aircraft - only one informing me of a 5 minute schedule change.
I called Etihad. They are refusing to rebook or cancel my ticket, and they said that the "fare rules" of my ticket will apply if I want to proceed with any of those 2 options.
Also from Etihad: "As we get prepared for the busy travel season, we’ve partnered with Wamos Air to support us until we receive our new aircraft. You will still receive the same baggage allowance, enjoy hours of in-flight entertainment and have a choice of complimentary meals to pick from. We will do our best to make your flight enjoyable.
