Age limit for drinking wine during flight and in BA lounges

I'm taking one of my daughters aged 17 to NYC on a BA Holiday. We are flying in F. Does anyone know if she can be served wine with her meal in the CCR or during the flight?
I appreciate that she cannot drink in the Chelsea Lounge at JFK as she's under 21.
Whereas the Law in England does allow 16 and 17 year olds to have a glass of wine, beer or cider with a meal. What's BA's position does anyone know?
Cheers, Andrew
