Generally, I would say that this resort's hard product in the rooms was in very good taste with the décor being slightly Mediterranean. I was very impressed with my stay at the StR to the point of being disappointed in going to the Sheraton for my second night in Muscat. Some of the posters mentioned that the beach was rather uninspiring but I thought that it was very adequate with the chairs, umbrellas, and complimentary sun screen protection (30, 50, & suntan oil). There is also a swim up bar with an excellent menu of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages for guests to enjoy and there's a lot of dining options for variety as well.

I would most definitely return to the StR Al Mouj should I find myself in Muscat again.
