I find that, but with LO compared to LH

i suspect LH is generally more status heavy than LO and EN, making the blocks less reliable

if there are only 6 free seats and 10 Star Gold or higher, at least 4 will lose the block next to them.

If those 4 seats are B or E seats, and the status holders are in A and C or D and F in some of those rows, then more than 4 of the 10 would lose their blocks.

And that is just an example with 10 Star Gold on board. I would imagine some status heavy flights go out with lot more than 10 star gold in Y, judging by how many people go through priority boarding compared with how many are in J
