You may have physically stayed the requisit number of nights, but only those nights associated with 'completed' stays count.
Any recognition of status by the hotel early, based on a partially completed stay, would purely be a goodwill gesture on their part. I would not try to argue with the hotel that the terms and conditions entitle you to the higher status, because they simply do not.
The t&c says 3 things of relevans:
1. It define an Eligible Stay as a "Stay booked at a participating hotel at eligible rates"
2. It says under "Earning Points", Point 7: "Conditions for the effective completion of an Eligible Stay. When a Member completes an Eligible Stay in one of the hotels participating in the Programme...the Status points and Status Nights corresponding to their stay will be credited to their account."
3. It says under "Status", point 8, that "Members can access a higher Status at any time during their membership if they reach the required threshold of Status Nights or Status points, as shown in the table below."
I have booked at eligabel rate, point 1. Point 7 just saying that Accor will credit points and nights after a stay. It does however NOT say that it is the date of credit which give you status.
But point 8 - which clarify the status rules - says clearly that status is given at "any time" you reach the threshold, no mention that the stay has to be credited in the system first. However the system shows that you have stayed a certain number of nights for example during a stay (the hotel can see it) - regardless of when those nights are credited.
