No, the terms are clear, where they say "when a member completes an eligible stay ... the nights and points will be credited to their account". The terms don't provide for any accruing of status based on points or nights not yet credited for a stay that is still in progress. You may have physically stayed the requisit number of nights, but only those nights associated with 'completed' stays count.
Any recognition of status by the hotel early, based on a partially completed stay, would purely be a goodwill gesture on their part. I would not try to argue with the hotel that the terms and conditions entitle you to the higher status, because they simply do not.
