There's rarely a reason to walk when Grab rides are so inexpensive. The only place I found compelling to walk to was a dim-sum place about a km from the Courtyard, a little bit closer than Marriott to Gurney Paragon.
Thanks. I was thinking of changing but the points arbitrage is so good that I might stick with the Courtyard unless the Marriott is infinitely better?. We will also have a car. So, no need for Grab. However, I remember a few years ago being stuck in the Paragon car park at closing time as everyone tried to exit!
