If you get a continental breakfast, it means that Alaska has no current catering contract at SNA for whatever reason, or for the morning flights. The meals are loaded on the previous flights - one of those late night arrival from SEA/PDX. Most of the items are non-perishable. Milk cartons are stored in a chilled cart - well a tray filled with dry ice.
