Solo stay here over the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. Glass of sparkling wine on arrival. Upgraded to a low-floor executive suite ahead of time. The low floor not great for privacy -- you could make eye contact with tourists on the street -- but made for fun people watching.

Some sort of puff pastry treats and chocolate flakes waiting in the room.
Grout in the bathroom(s) could use a deep cleaning. Furniture and fixtures getting a bit long in the tooth -- feels a bit like a cross between a Thompson (mid-century modern aesthetic), but with quirky maintenance/upkeep characteristics of an Unbound (like the Kabuki in SF).

Super friendly staff all around. Overall, a good place for a solo or couple base of operations for seeing downtown and nightlife destinations. Probably not the best for kids. Though I did see quite a few families at breakfast in the morning.-- so it'd work well for a family with toddlers. But anything older and you'll have to actively keep an eye that they don't get run over by relatively heavy street traffic.
