BA Exec Club - trapped in an IT loop..!
Sorry if this is already on here somewhere, I'm a newbie and couldn't find it.
I surely can't be the only Exec Club member trapped in some kind of Inception-type loop: when I try to login to my Exec Club account, i get the message that a 6 digit authentication code has been sent to a mobile number which I removed from my account over 6 months ago. There is no other way I can access my account (I don't have the 'rescue code' thingy). I've spoken to the call centre multiple times, and they tell me
- it's a known issue
- it can take 7- 10 working days to fix / it will be sorted in 24 hours / it will only take 24-48 hours (according to the different call centre personnel I've had dealings with)
- My correct numbers are showing in the account, but the authentication code can't be sent to them
- I can't speak to the team who are working on this as they don't take calls
I have some upcoming bookings I need to adminster, and I have no way of doing this other than by telephone or (possibly worse), at the airport.
Can anyone offer any advice, or point me towards a way of escalating this? TIA
