Ah, okay. I just registered an account and was not offered the current 100% bonus. It seems that IHG does have multiple bonuses throughout the year.
I'm having a dilemma now.
I have 3 options
1) Redeem Seoul to Gimpo with existing miles (might not be worth since it's only 1hr and there is no service onboard. But I do not have to buy IHG points)
2) buying 104k IHG points at usd$520 and redeeming SG to/from Seoul (35k miles 1 way)
3) buy 54k IHG points at usd$270 and redeem Seoul to Japan (25k miles 1 way)
The current prestige class 773 and 789 is nothing to shout abt. The 78x prestige class is better but I don't think it will fly to Singapore anytime soon.
Let just hope Korean air don't devalue the air miles within the next 1-2 years.
