Trying to decide if the point redemption is worth it or if I should look to book cash at another resort (open to suggestions) if the cost of additional fees/transfer/meals is excessive.

1. Same upgrade costs regardless of status. I had none. Well actually I am a "Discoverist" from my credit card but that doesn't mean much.
2. Rooms booked with points DO NOT include any meals. If you can find someone to give you a GOH then that would get yo breakfast.
