Well to follow up, I ordered the toasted brioche. But I didn't even get offered the opportunity to eat it!

Flew the route today. I actually wasn't hungry, and was planning to just tell the FA I no longer wanted it when they came to confirm my pre order. However no one ever came, either to ask what I wanted or to confirm my pre order. Another FA came by and set the tablecloth, offer me a drink etc. Since I wasn't going to eat anyway, I decided not to say anything and see what would happen. Well, my table sat there set, others got their meals, but no one really batted an eye at my empty table. Seems like a crew issue, as other pax around me had their finished meals sitting on their tray tables for 30+ minutes until it was picked up
When I finally decided to close the tray table and put my coffee mug and (unused) tablecloth on the side console, it wasn't picked up for over 1.5hr! Abysmal service. Majority of the crew was standing around the forward galley when I went to the lav.

And unrelated, but the aircraft was absolutely freezing the entire flight.
