For the record, I’m not aware that ba or ow commit to providing the fast track benefit, where applicable, to a guest. Certainly, on the websites, I may be missing something but can only see “fast track security at selected airports” with no reference to guests at all. This differs from, say, lounge access which specifies a guest or seat selection which specifies everyone on your booking.
My impression is that the fast track benefit is very airport specific - it’s not offered at some airports, for the member only at some, and with a guest at Ba’s own hub and in a number of other airports.
in that sense, if I’m honest, I’m not sure there was a case for compensation in the first place nor, for that matter, for reassurance.
