Cheers.
Tons of value in a Personal Concierge just depends what you need.

If you’re making GOH reservations and want them to go off without a hitch use MHC.

If you need something done for a stay within 24-48 hours then call in because it’s urgent, but most people don’t wait until the last minute so MHC would be easier.

MHC has made personal accommodations, arranged welcome celebrations (birthday, anniversaries, honeymoon, gotten hotels to provide welcome amenities, and much more.

They can also intervene for on property issues, and assist if there’s any erroneous charges on your folio so you don’t have to deal with the hotel.

It’s entirely dependent on what you need.

Here’s one example that I had happen over the summer -

I needed a room last minute and the property was at 99% capacity, they only had 1 single room left. This room was available on the Standard Rate and Points + Cash, but not Points and not able to use a Category 1-4 certificate which I wanted to use. I called Reservations they said whatever rates are available is what’s available. I called the Glob Line they said if it’s not bookable on points or got Certificates then it’s not bookable that way. I explained to both of them Hyatt’s own policies which basically state if it’s a Standard Room available at the Standard Rate then it must also be made available on Points and Certificates. They basically said too bad. I then called MHC who spoke to their supervisor and agreed it is Hyatt’s policy so they force booked it using my Category 1-4 Certificate.

That’s just one recent example at least for me.
