I travel with dive gear all the time (I’m even in BON right now).

like others have said. Just pack a normal bag with your dive gear. Easy peasy. At least you are going to tropical waters and gear should be pretty limited.

I’ve traveled all over the world with full cold/ice diving gear (drysuit/etc). Never an issue or cost as long as you have the baggage allowance.
