I stopped by the iad ba lounge a few months ago after achieving ba gold and asked about access when flying aa or as and was told by the lounge staff that golds flying aa or as would be granted access. Don't know how that translates into lh lounge access during ba lounge temp closure, but at least it is something you could leverage?
