Always take row 1 on Delta 767s. It has more legroom as the foot area is in the bulkhead. Other seats your feet go underneath seat table of seat in front.
Agree with row 1 for the 763ERs but depending on your priorities/preferences, 1A or 1D on the 764 is not that great as the seat is on the “aisle side” with the console table against the window. I prefer to be directly by the window, so usually choose row 2A/D, 6A/D, or 8A/D if they’re available
