As you say, if you aren't actually promoted to GGL until your new year then BA aren't going to let you have 4 Jokers to use.
Thanks, that seemed likely. Is the "moved into GGL" instant upon your account showing 5k or is there, say, a working day or two typically involved before you are GGL and thus able to call and use a joker?
