thank you good to know! Yes it’s a crazy route but it only costs $4k usd more than a direct flight on CX in J. I think it’s a steal to fly three long haul flight in one of the few true F left. It’s a vacation so time is not important.

LX-coded, LX-operated ZRH-SFO in F

CX do print out lounge invitations at check in - and it lists the lounges you have access to as determined by the computer. This'll help you know what you can access. It may even give you F!

On another note - seems a very roundabout way of getting to SFO from HKG!
