You can buy IHG points and transfer to KE at 5:1. IHG points are half price at the moment (and often are) so USD0.5 cents each. So it'll cost you USD2.5 cents per KE point, which might be worth it to bump up your balance to a useful level. I just did 50000:10000 for USD250 and emptied my KE account with a decent redemption. You need to have an IHG account with KE selected as the miles earner at the date of transfer. Transfers take up to 4 weeks, mine about 10 days.
