AF CDG lounge - use for arrival and multiple times
Hi all
Would appreciate some help on lounge access for our 17 hours layover in CDG Paris in February 2025 please. We arrive at 6am and depart 11:20pm. Would like to access the departure lounge once, go to Paris, and come back to access the lounge again in the evening if possible. Both flights business class.
Although I got a dayuse hotel in Paris but access is 11am. It would be nice to freshen up and change (we will be coming from the tropics) before heading to Paris.
I cannot find which gate the incoming flight will arrive but it's Terminal 2E. Onward flight usually uses Terminal 2E gates K3x/4x. The latest related Flyertalk post was about a year ago (I am not allowed to post link just yet but the title is "Can I use AF lounge in terminal 2E as a "arrivals lounge" for a long connection?"). The post suggests that it is possible and (1) it will take a bit of time so only long layover is worth (which we have), (2) we have to use the departure lounge (which means the one in Terminal 2E Hall K - need to find our way there), (3) best get clear direction when leaving the lounge to the immigration, and most importantly (4) can use the same boarding pass to access the lounge twice and to re-enter to secured area in the evening.
I would just to confirm my understanding above to be still valid (as the post is now one year old). I contacted Air France and they said I could not do it because the lounge could only be used three hours before flight departure. I hope this is just an official line when asked but would really appreciate any updated experience on this please (especially accessing the lounge twice and re-entering secured area using the same boarding pass).
Many thanks in advance for any help, and much obliged.
