Hi air miles gurus!
I've been in the process of switching over from Delta (was Platinum, now Gold) to Air France/FB where (due to travel budget cuts at work this year) I am still slogging at 73 XP for FB/saddo Explorer status. So far I've been able to skip queues and still use the lounge based on my Delta status and then switch the FF# as I'm leaving the lounge in order to pick up my FB miles. Sadly will lose this come the Delta reset on January 1. I'm contemplating a mileage run to at least make Silver / shoot for Gold but it would be on my own dime so looking for a cost effective way to do it. I was considering a quick trip to DC / NY and could add SAF contribution but I don't think that'll get me there. PLEASE help me you travel geniuses!
