As stated earlier, almost any J product beats Y or PY regardless of configuration. As to the worth... that usually lies in the eyes of the beholder's wallet.

You did not mention a specific route, but perhaps your question should rather be: should you look for alternate J products to BA’s for the flight in question?

I personally avoid A380s entirely regardless of airline or configuration.
