I’ve seen the trolley used on a number of A380 flights to set the place settings (the meals are then delivered by hand from the galley as per normal). I haven’t yet been on a B789 flight, but have seen reports of the same for busy flights.
I’ve had bad luck for my A380 flights since the pandemic, I consistently get thrown out of my seat and out of business class, so I’ve not seen this. >
