It's my understanding they still have the same bandwidth which is (or was) around 15/5Mbps per aircraft. Part of the issue is upload capacity gets saturated which due to way TCP/IP works means download gets affected also.

I also believe their modems support up to 50Mbps and with the competition the lines of Inmarsat are facing from Starlink you'd think they'd just be giving their customers extra bandwidth to keep them happy..
