Quick update in regards to my G class earn rate on SYD-CHC, I emailed the exec team in regards to this a few weeks ago and had a response last week:
- I was given the full advertised 30SP
- I was told "We have temporarily removed the Airpoints Calculator from the website while we address the issue"
Looks the like Airpoints calculator is back up now:
- TT short haul routes have kept their lowered G/K etc. earn rates
- TT worksflexi fares no longer show increased earn rates compared to works fares
- Perth fares have reverted to their previous much higher earn rates, e.g. AKL-PER in J shows 146SP, it previously was lowered to 88SP
I also switched my AKL-CHC (as part of a PE fare) to be indirect AKL-WLG-CHC since the journey concept is now gone, and this resulted in earnings of 2x30SP.
So this sounds like a viable option for extra SP if the route permits.
