I'm thinking of a trip to Arabia, with a flight arriving very early in the morning Monday, and then returning home Friday night. That would be four nights. However, I would try and create a custom trip so that I paid for a hotel night for Sunday night so could go straight to the hotel and get a sleep for a few hours before starting the day.

Will this qualify for five nights, or because the flight arrives post midnight Monday automatically disqualify it from the double tier points?

Anyone with actual experience?
