small rooms but the bed is good. toilet is very tight between the wall and the tub, perhaps reflecting it's former life as a best western, $10 per night parking which seems strange given it's very suburban location but if they can get away with it, hey. nice breakfast (I got the short rib hash and the portion was huge) but you'll definitely need to pay more than the $15 you get as a diamond. The pool / jacuzzi look like they've seen better days (discolored grout, dirt, etc.) Location is quiet and there's a Safeway shopping center across the street with a decent sushi restaurant as well as a few places across Highway 1 toward the beach (Mexican and Indian). Plus other places further up or down Soquel Drive.
