Anyone have specific exact dates of something being done ? Don’t tell me soon , hopefully soon , early next year , sometime next year , by summer 2025 , etc.
You can always check their SEC filings where they give delivery updates each quarter. You can also go back to their annual reports to see what their reported fleet size was at end of each year. Allow me:

in 2021-2023, they've taken delivery of over 100 mainline aircraft. With the youngest fleet of their competitors by average age, they don't need to refurb a lot of them like others are doing with 30+ year old aircraft.
  • 50 A321NEOs
  • 25 737-800
  • 25 737MAX
  • 14 787-8
These numbers are based on fleet sizes in the annual reports ending 2021, 2022, 2023. Those numbers will likely be higher with the 2024 annual report of fleet size updates.

Somewhere in there they also finished standardizing/OASIS'izing the 737 and 321 fleets.

Their Q3 updated deliveries (manufacturer fault, not AA) have planned deliveries for the remainder of 2024:
  • 3 A321NEO (uncertain if any are XLR variant)
  • 1 787-9

2025 planned, per Q3 SEC filing (this is ALL contingent on manufacturers keeping their end of the deal):
  • 7 A321NEO (mostly XLR, if not all)
  • 17 737MAX
  • 10 787-9

They reported that in late 2025 will begin the 777-300 refurb.
They've also reported to be starting the refurb project to add a row of F to all the 319's and standardize those configs.
