The Avios information is only available on the App, not on the online web interface to your account, but if the transactions are showing as completed you will get your Avios. If it is pending, then it may be a day or two after it shows as completed.
Often you can find that merchants don't transact things in a timely manner, so it may end up even being 5-7 days before you see the Avios number show up, even though your available credit on the card has reduced on the same day as the purchase.
Thank you for the reassurance. I have checked again and it now shows that 13.5 Avios are pending and £9 has been spent toward the Welcome bonus award. The total Avios balance is still stuck at 19:49 on 04 Nov, though. How often does/should it update on the Barclays app?
I hope it all goes smoothly. Granted, I have been spoiled with the Amex app and customer support, but overall the Barclays app seems dreadful and clunky, even compared to others I use, such as Lloyds or NatWest.
